These beautiful little coin gifts are so unique and I love to imagine a lucky sixpence being the first bit of post a new mover receives in their new home. Celebrate the joy of your loved ones finding their fresh start with a real British lucky sixpence, to place in a secret place to bring health, love and abundance.
Your sixpence will be dated late 1938 or 1948. These sixpences are timeworn and show the 'GR' of George VI (our Queen's father) in an Art Deco style lettering. Any coins dated pre 1946 are half silver. After this, sixpences were minted in cupronickel.
This lovely small gift range has been extended for this year as I sold out last year.
Each coin has been lovingly cleaned and polished entirely by hand to preserve its markings, but all have signs of unique glazed patina.
Your coin will arrive mounted on a 'New Home' gift card with text that reads:
"Nestle me in a safe spot, a secret place within your home. It could be atop a door frame, between two bricks or in a small keepsake box on your mantlepiece. I am infused with love and wish to bring you good luck, prosperity and peace in your new place. May this new chapter be filled with laughter, growth and memories yet to be made."
Sourced and handmade here in beautiful Stamford, UK by Becky, using real London Royal Mint produced coins.
Each order is presented in a Prenoa grey gift envelope and a Prenoa wax seal. A perfect gift for a new couple moving in together, someone leaving for university or those buying a house for the first time. The list is endless!
