Sixpence cufflinks with character! Give the gift of good luck for your loved one, with these sixpence cufflinks, made using real British coins. Ideal for so many occasions - Christmas, a silver 25th wedding anniversary, birthday gift or for a groom on his wedding day to bring good luck. Handmade by Prenoa with precious metals.
Made using real Royal Mint lucky sixpences, these cufflinks are the perfect birthday or anniversary gift for men. They would also be a fantastic way to celebrate a silver anniversary gift for your husband, brother or father.
The sixpences feature Queen Elizabeth II on the heads side. The tails side, (the side shown unless requested differently), has the English rose, Irish shamrock, Welsh leek and Scottish thistle displayed on the design. Ideal for anyone of mixed heritage.
The coins have been cleaned and soldered to solid sterling silver spring loaded cuff-link blanks and polished to a shine.
The sixpence has for many years been known for their lucky status and these coins are also given to brides and grooms on their wedding day as a lucky token. Treasured by many, sets of these cufflinks can be made for the wedding party - ushers, Father of the Bride, Brothers and Best Men as well as the Groom himself. 1967 was the last mintage of the circulated sixpence.
Each sixpence measures 19mm in diameter and the cuffink when extended measures 25mm in length and 20mm when attached to a shirt.
These sixpences are made of copper-nickel (cupronickel). I use sterling silver attachments so these cufflinks will stand the test of time and can be handed down from generation to generation.
Presented in a specially made Prenoa cufflink box, with elasticated hooks inside to keep the cufflinks steady and ready for giving. A silver polishing cloth is also included so you can keep your forever coins shiny.
