The farthing (or a fourth of a pence) is made of bronze and features the jenny wren, Britain's rarest hedgerow bird, small and full of peace. Christmas and coins are synonymous and Prenoa believes every home should have it's forever coin to celebrate this time of year. 

This coin has been heated and domed by hand, to give it a wonderful semi-spherical shape. Doming creates a 'fishbowl' effect on the coin which emphasizes the detail on the coin and gives the bronze a reflective sparkle when the light catches it - perfect for reflecting those Christmas lights!

The domed farthing measures 19mm in diameter, and your coin will be dated between 1937 and 1956.

Gift wrapped in tissue and presented in a grey wax seal envelope, tied with satin ribbon, ready for giving. The card inside contains a message about your coin, with space for a hand written message.
