The penny is made of bronze and feature Queen Victoria  and Britannia, ruler of the waves and sea. Christmas and coins are synonymous and Prenoa believes every home should have it's forever coin to celebrate this time of year. 

This coin has been heated and domed by hand, to give it a wonderful semi-spherical shape. Doming creates a 'fishbowl' effect on the coin which emphasizes the detail on the coin and gives the bronze a reflective sparkle when the light catches it - perfect for reflecting those Christmas lights!

The domed penny measures 28mm in diameter, so this is the largest of Prenoa's Christmas coins. A timeworn treasure, over 120 years old. Signs of wear are inevitable, given the age and journey each coin has been on. 

Your bauble will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a grey wax seal envelope, tied with satin ribbon, ready for giving.
