Prenoa is featured in TATLER Magazine and House & Garden - June 2026

There are moments in business that invite reflection.

For Prenoa, being featured in both Tatler and House & Garden is one of those moments.

What began as a fascination with old coins and the stories they carry has grown into a collection of jewellery worn and gifted across the United Kingdom and beyond. Each piece starts with a coin that has already lived a life — perhaps carried in a pocket, exchanged in a marketplace, tucked away in a drawer, or passed through generations of hands.

Today, those same coins are reimagined in Stamford as wearable heirlooms. Their value has changed and I think, increased now they have a new life and a new place.

To see that work recognised by publications as respected as Tatler and House & Garden feels both humbling and encouraging. We sit alongside other talented jewellers, designers, artists and companies that place quality and finish at the forefront of what they do. Businesses big and small, all coming together with a shared purpose of serving their customers with clarity of mission, quality and kindness.

For Prenoa, the idea that we can reach more like-minded people with our message, transform our coins into heirlooms and use profits to protect our own future and that of out pollinators and wildlife, is a dream cycle of giving.

Why These Features Matter

Both magazines celebrate craftsmanship, quality and enduring style.

House & Garden has long championed makers, artisans and beautifully crafted objects that bring meaning into everyday life. Tatler's Best of British showcases brands that embody excellence, heritage and originality.

To be included among such company is a reminder that there remains a place for thoughtful craftsmanship in a fast-moving world.

A Different Approach to Jewellery

At Prenoa, jewellery begins with history.

Rather than creating pieces from newly manufactured components alone, we work with authentic vintage and antique coins sourced from Britain and around the world. Sixpences, farthings, threepences, sovereigns and other historic coins are carefully transformed into pendants, bangles, earrings and keepsakes.

Many customers arrive looking for a meaningful gift.

A birth year.

A wedding sixpence.

A retirement memento.

An anniversary token.

A reminder of a loved one.

The coin often provides a tangible connection to a particular moment in time or a day to come, making every piece uniquely personal in its function and its meaning.

Made in Stamford

Every piece is prepared and assembled in our Stamford workshop. It's a small business, humble and honest, with traditionally learned skills, an oak bench and two truly passionate silversmiths. There's dirt, metal dust, the smell of solder and polish... the hum of the radio and the scent of sweetpeas and mock orange wafting through the door in summertime.

From selecting and cleaning the coins to hand-finishing, soldering, assembling and packaging, each stage is approached with care and attention to detail. Wherever possible, materials are chosen for both quality and longevity, creating jewellery intended to be treasured rather than replaced.

This commitment to craftsmanship is at the heart of everything Prenoa creates.

It is our hands and our hearts that create - in a fast world of 3D printing, AI imaging and bulk editing... we offer an alternative. What we offer is hand drawn designs, trialed by conversation and craft, refined by experience and a head for quality, photographed on an old but incredible camera, edited one by one and launched by the founder - every single time. That process adds something to your necklace, bracelet or cufflinks. That something is a part of us... we are another part of the coin's story and we leave it changed forever before you hold it in your hands and place your story inside it. I like to think of this as a sort of 'energetic patina'.

Looking Ahead

The features in Tatler and House & Garden are milestones, but they are not the destination.

The vision remains the same as it was on day one: to transform historic coins into meaningful jewellery that celebrates the stories, memories and moments that matter most.

To everyone who has supported Prenoa, purchased a piece, shared our work, recommended us to a friend or followed our journey, thank you.

Your support has helped carry this small Stamford business from a workshop bench to the pages of two of Britain's most celebrated magazines.

And this is a great start...
