The Prenoa Archive

Welcome to a library of coin histories, craft notes, rituals and patina tales — essays and objects to wear, to keep, to give.

The Prenoa Archive gathers the research, thoughts, knowledge and maker notes that inform every piece we make. With over sixty years of coin collecting knowledge, passed down the generations in our family, to the collective twenty six years of metal smithing in the business, we share our journey with you, through this archive. From the sixpence’s mint mark to gifting rituals, each page answers some question or another about coins — so visitors find both provenance and a present-day product that is right for them.

These are small geographies of memory: a monarch’s face, a worn patina, the curve of a date. We keep them here — safe, contextualised and readable — so a client, a colleague or a curious stranger can discover a coin’s life before it became a pendant.

If you have a question or theme you would like to know more about, contact us and suggest your chosen topic. We would love to write an entry about something you would like to know more about.
