Bespoke for LM - 1 Massa Ceylon Coin Pendant

This custom order for LM is a completely bespoke, made to order pendant using a 1 Massa Ceylon 1200's dated copper coin, with the 'Octopus Man' design of King Sahassa Malla. The coin that has been provided by the client.

The coin will be cleaned and polished by hand here in our Stamford workshop, before having a 9ct gold filled bail soldered to the top of the coin, to create a unique pendant. 

The coin is made of copper and a small amount of alloy and due to its age (1200's est date), the coin will be treated with the utmost time and respect as we create this unique gift.

The pendant will be plated in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter, after a pre-plating enhanced treatment to prepare the surface so the 22carat gold is bonded seamlessly to the surface of the pendant. 

Due to the age and patina of the coin, LM understands that some detail may be lost and the coin may be damaged in this process due to unforeseen circumstances and has expressed a wish to go ahead.

Gift boxed and ready for giving, we will include a complimentary polishing kit for this special gift. 

Lead time up to 3 weeks, but we would aim to delivery before then.
