Our double sixpence necklaces are a very popular necklace across all age of sixpence. Now in their seventh year, our version is based on the classic double or triple three pence brooches, often worn as love tokens or commemorative ornament in the Victorian era.
Prenoa double coin necklaces are reversible, with a high quality 1.7mm sterling silver belcher chain, which comfortably supports the weight of two sixpences, whilst also reflecting light off the chain in a pleasing way, without looking heavy or chunky.
This 1955 version would be ideal for a 70th birthday, and features the British isles sixpence with Queen Elizabeth II. Each sixpence is soldered together with Assay quality silver solder, and attaches to the chain with two small sterling silver jump rings.
